My PhD. study abroad in Germany and the role of professionals in advancing research in Africa

My PhD., I took an interview with the the AG-CAREER HUB, about study abroad and my PhD. in Germany, and how this can help transform research in Africa. Please find below reported by the AG-CAREER HUB, Formally Kenyan Germany Career & Entrepreneurship Network (KGCEN):


" Isaiah Onando Mulang' from Kenya is currently undertaking a Ph.D. in Computer Science in Germany.

Isaiah is a holder of the DAAD NRF Scholarship, a Ph.D. candidate in the Smart Data Analytics group at the University of Bonn and a research scientist at Fraunhofer IAIS (Sankt Augustin).

After graduating with a Masters in Software Engineering and a BSc in Computer Technology from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Isaiah decided to pursue his career further in Germany.

Isaiah is also a scholar of the Software Campus, an initiative that further educates doctoral students and master students of computer science to become executives in the digital industry. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF.)

Isaiah has several initiatives pushing and supporting research in Africa. "
